Scrap Cars
Dave Pearson’s Recycling Center works with Auto Dismantling companies frequently to old Scrap Cars or wrecked cars. If you are an Auto Dismantler, please contact us for more information. In addition, we will buy scrap cars from the public if you meet the following criteria. The California law now states that we must have a “junk slip” from the Department of Motor Vehicles. We also require the gas tank to be removed and all fluids drained from the car before bringing your vehicle. Over the years, laws have changed regarding the correct paperwork you must have that takes your car out of the DMV system. This will ensure that you do not get billed for registration and makes it legal to scrap you vehicle. Please contact us for more information.
